Remedy Server run by CERN/IT

CERN/IT runs ARS 5.1.2 in production since September 2004 (previously ARS 5.0.1 since June 2002).

Remedy Clients for use with CERN/IT applications

• The Windows interface is the recommended way to access CERN/IT applications. The recommended version is 6.0 (how to download and install), but version 5.1.x can be used until the server is upgraded to 6.0.

• It's available in the Windows Terminal Service for Linux and MacOSX users.

• The Web interface offers some convenient features
  no instalation required
  accesible from outside CERN
  direct links included in PRMS notifications
  But doesn't offer the same features as the Windows client does, and has some compatibility problems, in particular in Linux (see http://cern.ch/prmsweb and http://cern.ch/itcmweb)
