Web Interface

The PRMS (Problem Report Management System) is a general purpose tracking system which is available to all Cern Experiments/Support Group. It was originally built as a tool for monitoring the Desktop Support Services which are provided by an External Service Provider. PRMS was designed by  Alan Lovell, at the end of 1998/beginning 1999 on top Remedy/Helpdesk application.

PRMS continuously evolved from its creation to now in order to adapt to the needs of Cern users. Main new features and changes added along the years are : detachment from Remedy/Helpdesk, support of several domains, user-controlled Domain Management and Web interfaces. Main contributors to PRMS evolution are Carlos Ungil, Alan Lovell and Vincent Doré.

Feedback:Carlos Ungil V. Doré and A. Lovell.
